The Harlot Queen | Gentille Constance Kampire

‘The Harlot Queen’ was voted by members of WSA-R community as Literary Work of the Week (September 23–September 29, 2024).

At the top mountain of lust,
Where sin dwells in full bloom,
There lives a harlot queen
Whose beauty quench youth’s desire.

Her dirty whisper numbs the ears
With an evil gaze penetrating the psyche.
Her tender hands send goosebumps
And make you claim a night with her.

Her speech is smoother than oil,
With stunning lips that drip honey
Her legs resemble the hell’s pillars
Between them, a soul is sold.

Her feet go down to death
With steps that lead straight to grave.
She is sharp like a double edged sword
And evil resides in her womb.

Run away my beloved Son
Keep to a path far from her
For inside her flesh a bond is made,
And between her breasts, destiny is destroyed.

Away from her you will live, Son
And a reward is promised by the King.
